Training Tuesdays 

9am-10am Adult Beginner Ballet: a follow along class for complete beginners. Please wear black fitted top+leggings plus socks to this class. Useful foundational class for more advanced dancers.

10am-11am Partnering & Improv: learn how to partner using contemporary and contact improvisation techniques. Explore theatre and dance improvisation and get to use your body in a different way. Appropriate fitness clothing required.

11am-12noon Technical Theatre/Mise en Scene/Heels: a choice of one of three sessions depending on RSVPs. Intro to Heels technique, please bring a sturdy pair of heels with adequate ankle support. For technical theatre and mise en scene come prepared with your notebook and pens/drawing implements.

LUNCH BREAK

1pm - 2pm Writing for Screen and Stage: explore screenwriting, playwriting, and performance writing conventions using examples from our library collection, and learn to write your own.

2pm - 3pm Workshopping: experience how to re-draft your work (music, theatre, dance, etc.) using the process of workshopping. Bring a piece to share and be ready to receive feedback.

4pm - 5pm Chorus/Repertory: explore voice, body, resonance using various techniques. We will alternate dance and voice centered techniques week by week.
